It was so brilliant to have something of that standard so close to home. Hopefully there will be more to come in the future! Word has spread quickly to those on Skye who didn't make it!
"Congratulations for creating such a fantastic event! Everyone I spoke to was full of praise for the organisation and really seemed to get a lot out of taking part. I was so impressed by what the orchestra and choir acheived in such a short time- thought there were some really moving bits especially the big chorus numbers when everyone was singing and playing en masse.
Thanks very much for asking me to take part, I really enjoyed working with everyone and making some new friendships. Everyone was so welcoming and enthusiastic, it was nice to get away from Glasgow for a weekend and do something really rewarding...although think I'm going to have to go on a diet now after all the lovely cakes! Glad the concert got such a warm review in the paper too."
